It's very original, it's art, we need to show some love because every discussion about SOAD I keep seeing how some "diehard" fans hate Chop Suey!, shit on it for being overrated & get at people who say Chop Suey is their favourite song. I don't think the lyrics are all that important, but Daron combined elements of punk, hard rock, death metal, folk, opera & make it work wonderfully. The song has strings, Serj outperformed himself not only in the outro but throughout the whole song. hell, he even used mandolins in the chorus. It has wonderful melodies, it has the heaviness & the rawness of early SOAD, Daron did a perfect job layering guitars in the intro & in the chorus. It deserves to be System's most successful song. Its like the way you see things and the way you see the music going forward, what it means to you what System of a Down might mean. He leaves his keays on the table, for he won't need them again.
